The talks about China's new Ballistic missile Carrier Killer was first heard in the year 2011 as some of the news sources says.
China officially unveiled their missile developments on Thursday(3rd September,2015) as a part of Military Parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of WW-II at Tienanmen square, Beijing.

Apart from DF-21D popular as Carrier Killer some other short range nad intermediate range missiles were displayed.
